It is said that everyone has the ability to be clairvoyant. In our experience this is true, as everyone has had a clairvoyant experience at least once in their lifetime, although many times people do not believe in it or simply don’t know that it just happened. The number of people claiming not to believe in clairvoyance is pretty large, but if you ask people more specific questions like “do you believe in the afterlife?” or “do you believe your deceased loved ones can manifest themselves to you?” a lot more people will respond affirmatively. In fact, many people claim to have had experiences like this, where a recently deceased relative comes to them and they see him or her before they even know the relative has deceased.

To outright deny the possibility that you can come into contact with things that aren’t explainable or that don’t exist in the physical realm is not being intelligent or a strict follower of scientific evidence, quite the opposite. Science has always taken its greatest leaps when investigating the unknown, and never by outright rejecting something.

Nobody should go though these things unprepared or without someone more experienced guiding you, but there are relatively safe things that you can do to help you along the way.

A balanced diet, for example, will definitely help you hone into your psychic abilities, since a healthy body is always a better channel. It will also bring about improvements to all aspects of your life. Meditation is another way to quiet the voice of your mind and learn to hear what is happening around you, and it will also help you fight off stress, which is also healthy.

Palmistry is one of the oldest forms of divination still used today. It is used all across the world, and apart of many cultures. The way in which the palm is read, however, can vary widely. There are many different schools of thought, and most of which are conflicting. However, palmistry today is one of the most popular forms of divination, and psychic readings in main stream culture.

Palm reading was originally used by the Chinese, Indians, and Gypsies. Another term for palmistry is called Chiromancy, which shares the description as being a way to determine an individuals personality or future based on the characteristics of the palm. This not only includes the many lines found on the palm, wrist and fingers, but also the mounts on the palm, and sometimes even the size or shape of the fingers, nails, and hand. The most popular form of palmistry has it’s roots in Greek mythology, where each one of the bumps, or mounts, on the palm relate to a god or goddess.

Today, your palm can be read to not only answer questions about your future, but also to get an idea of your personality and understand your past. Everything from your health to your love life can be reflected in your palm, which makes it a broad form of divination. Your career, finances, and other aspects can also be read via palmistry, which is why it is so popular among the masses today. Although, because there is so much history and schools of theory, you may find some readings will present other information. Regardless of what you are looking to ask, or what perspective you’d like to gain, palmistry can help address your inquiries.

We all have a million questions about life we want answered, and we could all use a little guidance every once in awhile. If you’re considering seeking out the help of a clairvoyant, or psychic, you may find exactly the advice you’ve been looking for. With a reading, you can gain insight into your own life, and perhaps get some perspective that you wouldn’t have been able to on your own.

Many people from all walks of life turn to readings to help them, often when they feel the most lost or desperate. Psychics and clairvoyants offer you the chance to see the paths available to you, and give you a chance to see your choices in a different way. Whether you are curious about where your love life, or relationships might take you in the coming months, or you need some guidance regarding your professional life or business decisions. You can also question your financial hardships, or even glean some insight regarding your family and friends.

These readings can help you no matter what you are being faced with in life. Whether you are at a crossroads, and need help or guidance towards making a decision, big or small. If you are doubting a relationship, or looking for love. If you are unhappy with your career, or want to know what your finances might be like in the near future. All of these questions and issues can be addressed in a reading. The most important thing to keep in mind, however, is that anything can change. You may get a general idea as to what could possibly happen in the near future, but with every decision we make through out the day, our future changes. Remember that this is only helpful advice, and not a solid prediction of events. Use the information to gain some perspective and trust your instincts.

Everyone has experienced loss of some kind. Whether it has been family or friends, the loss of someone dear is never easy. Many of us feel desperate and confused after experiencing such a loss, and often this feeling does not pass with time. If you are looking for assurance, guidance, or comfort, you may find it through a Clairvoyant.

Psychics have long been a much needed link between ourselves, and the loved ones who we’ve lost. This concept has become so popular, in fact, it is easy to find it in todays media. Many shows are dedicated to this exact practice, and it has offered peace of mind to millions. With psychics becoming so accepted and main stream, many are opening up to the idea of attempting a connection. If you’ve ever considered consulting a clairvoyant, here are just a few things you can do.

Many readings involve nothing more than yourself and the psychic, however, there are other methods that are equally popular today. Palm reading and tarot cards are just a few of the ways that psychics use to provide you with the information you’re looking for, and reconnect with someone who has passed. These methods present your loved ones with an easier form of communication. Clairvoyants can see, hear, or sense that your loved ones are nearby, and can convey messages and emotions directly. No matter what method you are more comfortable with, you can find a way to reconnect with those who have passed. By researching online, you can become more comfortable with the concept, and find all the information you need regarding the process. Take the opportunity to find emotional closure, and to gain a new perspective on life.

By far one of the most popular forms of psychic readings use tarot cards. This is a method with centuries of tradition, and has always been an iconic part of the Gypsy culture. No wide spread and commonly used, this is a form of reading many trust and turn to when they are looking for answers. Whether you are curious about your love life, professional life, or just need some perspective on a decision you’re being faced with, a tarot reading can provide you with a vast amount of information.

There are many different kinds of tarot decks. Many of them are themed, though the cards inside the decks often remain the same. There are the four suits counting fifty six cards, and the major Arcana, which often consists of twenty two cards. Although these cards have singular meanings, they should never be taken literally. Their meaning is cryptic, and circumstantial to the surrounding cards. These cards are often read in correspondence with the energy the Psychic reads from you, as well as how it applies to your life and the questions you have asked. All of these aspects come together to deliver the perspective and insight you have sought.

The tradition of using tarot cards for Divinatory purposes reaches back to the late 1700s. It was widespread through out Europe, and was originally introduced by the Romanies. Besides the occult use of these decks, they had also been used to play a variety of games, and had grown in popularity in certain countries. Today, many practice tarot at home, or seek out the aid of a Psychic to conduct a tarot reading for them.

If ever a name spelled clairvoyance, that name was Edgar Cayce. You might know the name because of the many prophecies that he made, but there is a lot more to his work than that, although that is what ultimately made him famous.

Cayce was known as the “sleeping prophet”, and that is because he would go into a sleep state to perform his spiritual work. His trance-like sleep sessions were similar to a hypnotic state or to a modern day channeling, but at the time this was almost completely unknown to the general public. In fact, he wouldn’t remember most of what happened during his trance sessions, and we only know about what was said in them because his secretary started taking notes and keeping records on the sessions.

Cayce, like we said, is now particularly famous because of his prophecies, but he didn’t consider that to be an important part of his work. The most important things that he did, in his opinion, were the knowledge sessions where he would discuss theology, particularly the life of Jesus and his ascension to a Christ consciousness, and his healing sessions.

Cayce was a clairvoyant, and he was able to see things that others couldn’t. He could read auras and look at the root of one’s health problems. He also developed the ability to do healing work on the people that went to him for help. In fact, he was able to heal at a distance, and many people contacted him by post and he would enter a trance state and then reach out to the sickly person.

He adopted and talked about a lot of beliefs that are now considered part of the New Age Movement, in fact many look to him as the great starter of the movement. He was, however, a devout Christian.

If you’re looking to turn to a psychic reading for some guidance, or to have your questions answered, you’ll be faced with a few options. There are many different ways in which a reading can be done, and each clairvoyant will use various methods to address your needs. Although the result is often the same: some perspective on a decision or situation in your life, the way in which it is answered can be different. Here are just a few of the most common ways that readings are conducted.

Cards: this is a popular form of psychic reading that also varies in style. For example, many use a deck of tarot cards, which are very specific in their depiction and meaning, but can be applied in a variety of ways. Many different kinds of spreads, or how the cards are laid out and read on the table, are also used. Depending on who is doing the reading, the method used will vary. Some psychics or clairvoyants even use a deck of standard playing cards, with each one having it’s own meaning. This method can address any aspect from love to career to decision making.

Palm: palm readings are another one of the most popular practices among psychics. Often they use this in combination with energy and impressions they receive, in addition to the lines that can be found on the palm. This method also offers a wide range of information, from your personal life, to your professional life and beyond.

Meditation: many readings are nothing more than the psychic and yourself, where information is provided after a kind of meditation state is assumed by the psychic. Whether they see images, hear voices, or read energies, many psychics do not require a medium in which to present you with answers.

One of the first documented cases of clairvoyance, although at the time it may have not been recognized as such, was witness and brought to us by the Marquis de Puységur. He was a French gentleman who was a strict follower of Mesmerism, a technique developed by Franz Mesmer, who later evolved into modern day hypnosis. To this day the term “mesmerized” still exists in the English language, and it derives from Franz Mesmer’s name and doctrine.

But the one to be truly mesmerized by something he found would be our own Marquis de Puységur. Being an avid student of Mesmerism he offered his skills to people around him in order to perfect his abilities. He would later become one of the leading hypnotherapists of his day, and has been called “one of the great forgotten contributors to the history of the psychological sciences” by Henri Ellenberger, the great historian of psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. But the events that interest us for now happened early in his career.

One day the Marquis de Puységur started treating a man that worked for his family called Victor Race. This man was reportedly dull witted and ignorant, as most of the working class of the time. However, when placed under a hypnotic trance the man would undergo a sudden and drastic change. He would become incredibly articulate, identifying and prescribing remedies to his own disease and to others around him. Upon returning from his trance state he would remember none of this, and would return to his dull-witted and ignorant self. The Marquis de Puységur described the actions the man had as “clairvoyance”, this being, like we said, the first time any instance of clairvoyance was documented. It is, therefore, an important landmark, not only in clairvoyance, but in all the paranormal sciences as well.

The world “clairvoyant” is used to describe most things involving the perception of something that lies beyond the normal reach of the senses. This is mainly because the word has become a generalization, but in its essence it simply means “clear sight”, representing the ability to see things that you normally couldn’t see. Clairsensing is the broader name that includes seeing things that aren’t there, but also everything else related to the normal senses.

Clairaudience, for example, is the ability to hear things from a heightened state of perception. It is sometimes referred to as having a “third ear”, in a clear reference to the “third eye”. Being clairaudient may refer to actually hearing things, like tones or sounds, which give you an extra-sensorial perception of the world (a typical example is a ringing sound indicating the presence of an active spirit nearby) or simply perceiving things in words, much like when you formulate thoughts in your mind. It’s said that a clairaudient person can be spoken to by masters and higher spirits and given information about a number of subjects. But this isn’t the only sense that you can use to communicate and perceive other realms of existence: clairsentience (touch and feel) ,clairalience (smell) and clairgustance (taste) have also been documented to exist.

On a more ethereal playing field there is also the sense of claircognizance. This is when information about an object or a person is directly downloaded into your brain by no measurable means. For example, you will look at an object and instantly know its history, or be around a person and instantly perceive details of his or her life – or past lives – that are not of common knowledge nor can they be inferred by the person’s looks, manners or behavior.

In the end, all of these ways of perceiving the world are all sides of the same coin, simply adapted to what is the better way for us, personally, to perceive them.

The ancient art of shamanism is one that we traditionally connect with Native American Indians. It is, however, a practice that extends throughout the entire world. Even in the Western world, so proud of having substituted paganism for organized religion, and then substituting this for deep scientific knowledge and reasoning, there were once shamans. There are shamans still practicing their ways in China, India, Africa and South America, as well as in North America. There are also so called “modern shamans” that operate in Europe and North America, mainly.

A shaman could hold many positions and perform many tasks for the community, but the essential would be to serve as a link between the material and the spiritual worlds. The material world, where we live, is seen as a reflection of the spiritual world. Although both worlds interact, only the initiated shaman has the ability to travel between the two. Shamans are also known to practice spiritual healing. Sometimes the body’s ailments can be the reflection of a disease of the mind and spirit, and the shaman would alleviate the symptoms using medicinal knowledge while working spiritually on the root of the problem. On a grander scale, the shaman would travel across the spiritual planes in order to solve problems that affected the entire community, a practice known as “planeswalking”. This, naturally, made the shaman a prominent figure in the community, and someone who people greatly respected and admired.

Shamanism isn’t really a religion; it’s more of a combination of knowledge and rituals. Each shaman, after being initiated, shares his own personal wisdom and is not bound by a written code of ideals or laws like you would have in religion. As such, it is hard to find evidence of shamanic rituals, as they were generally passed from generation to generation.
